This is an unexplored topic for getbig, but I'm sure the consensus will be that rabies sucks ass. I wonder what would happen if someone had rabies and was on bath salts.

The statement that rabies sucks must be shared among most getbiggers.
Advise from Dr Dutch: never stroke an alive fox or bat you find in the woods....

I was driving a couple weeks ago and came across a racoon walking down the road in the middle of the day. I pulled up close to it and it didn`t even notice the truck, I shot that fuker 5 times and it was still twitching. I have since switched to a larger caliber. Rabies is some hard core nasty shit, nothing to fuk with.

Backstory?
Long story but got bit by a kitten. They suspected it did but turned out it didn't. They didn't test it right away so had to get the shots cause if it had rabies would have been to late to take shots. Once the test came back negative I stopped the shots.

Hah, I got scratched by a confirmed rabid kitten at some shitty pet store as a kid. Got about 7 3-5ml glute shots one after the other of this syrupy shit served up with a nice 18g pin... and then a few follow up booster shots over the next couple months. I knew a bunch of other people that had to go through the same thing

Once symptoms appear from rabies, your dead, only one person survived recently from some new treatment.

I've always been interested in rabies. It's so frightening that once the symptoms are present it's already too late. There was only one person who was documented to survive it, was some young girl in the US who was bitten by a bat and they put her into a drug-induced coma when she started developing symptoms and it saved her. It's fascinating and fucking scary.

No cure/vaccine at the time? On my Grandmother's side of the family we had a family member that contracted rabies and it was horrible. They ultimately tied him to a stake in the yard where he went insane and finally died from the infection. It was many, many years ago and she said it was horrible watching what happened to him. No cure and you cannot treat a family member like a rabid dog and shoot them, so they did what they could. This was well over 90 years ago and she told me about it about 50 years ago when I was a kid. I have no clue if she was just telling me this to scare me into staying away from odd acting animals or not but she never said the story was not true. *SHUDDER*.
