National polls from last week showed Obama to have a 7% lead over Romney. But Obama had a disastrous debate showing on wednesday night so those poll numbers may be changing.

LOL does it matter ?
when you only have two candidates, it's guaranteed that the bureacracy machine behind the curtains will remain in power no matter which one wins.

In order for anything to change, fresh faces are needed!! Not those political broilers who have been corrupted through the decades already and bureaucrats have full control over.

And yes, this is world wide phenomenom haters.

Obama's crushing it simply by letting Romney and the other repubs speak. Everything they say is either batshit crazy, completely wrong, or a lie.

National polls from last week showed Obama to have a 7% lead over Romney. But Obama had a disastrous debate showing on wednesday night so those poll numbers may be changing.

Like those debates actually matter. If you're dead set on voting for Obama, I do not see how a bad debate is going to shift your decision. I cant imagine an Obama fan, who has been supporting him for like 5 years say, "Well, he had one bad debate. Looks like I am voting for Romney." The same would go for Romney voters, if he had a bad debate.

As for the people who are not too sure who they are going to vote for, it doesnt matter. They will be too busy home eating cheese doodles and drinking mountain dew to go out and vote.

Romney is rich, and was heavily and effectively coached for the debate, obama did not appear prepared

Same old story since carter, democrats push for health plan, republicans bash it

Romney appears like a screen-saver to me, no substance, nothing really behind facade, what does he hope to really achieve, or "do"? What's his goal?

He has some of the reagan charisma and "look", but will never be a reagan, wether you think that's good or bad

I think rather stick with the devil you know, even though I'm not american, USA politics affect the world

Its funny watching people on both sides say "My guy is going to win because your guy just lies, and every time he opens his mouth he sounds like a moron".

This country is divided.. and a country divided cannot stand.

To close to call...Obama had a slight lead prior to the debate...now Romney does...but both were within the statistical MOE.  The "swing states" have shifted some since the debate...but it's equally tight there.  I don't know why people say the debates don't matter.  The debate(s) decided Reagan/Carter, played a huge role in Bush over Dukakis and Clinton over Bush.

Agree - but Romney won my heart.

What makes you say that?

I like some stuff he says like "I care about jobs"
What I don't like is he outlines ZERO examples how to create them. The same could be said for every other point that comes out of his mouth.
