...so, is he HOF worthy?

If you owned an NFL team, would you have him ahead of Brady/Rogers/Manning/Manning?

What are the other 5 records?  Just curious

- Consecutive games with td
- Consecutive starts (favre)

3) Most passing yards (breese)?
4) ?
5) ?

Very arguable (most football fans have a favorite "unbreakable record", but you could say....(in no particular order)

Jerry Rice's career touchdown record
Jerry Rice's career receiving yards record
Johnny U's (now Brees') consecutive games with a TD pass
Brady throwing for 50TD's in one season
Nighttrain Lane picking off 14 passes in one season

Others for consideration....

Bruce Smith tallying 200 sacks
Paul Krause's career interception total (that he's not in the HOF, I think, is retarded...but whatever)

The games geared towards offense now and outrageous passing stats will continue to rise.  A receiver catching 120 passes doesn't even come as a surprise nowadays.  It's the equivalent of a 80 catch season in the 80's and 90's.

Please, it's the system in NO.  This dude couldn't even get field time in San Diego. Their HC is a defensive guy, so the offense was going to be ok this season even without him.

To me it shouldn't count if he loses tonight and is 0-5.

IMHO, out of your options it's Brady's single season td mark, because his interceptions were so low.i don't think you'll see that td to pic ratio ever again on 50 tds

Hit welker between the 8 and 3 last one too, they could of run down the clock.  Even the one in 07 the bomb at the end to moss was only a miss by a few feet, and moss prob quit running,,haha

Brady's 50 td a season is insane an average of 3 a game :o

To bad ran out of stem and the defense let them down in the SB 07

Consecutive games with a TD pass seems as much a team record as a QB record.  Kind of a useless statistical accomplishment.

It is the system in New Orleans. But that's completely incorrect about Brees not getting field time in SD.  He started every game there his last year for the Chargers, including the blown playoff game against the Pats...the last game I've been to.  SD - ie. AJ Smith - wasn't confident in his shoulder and wouldn't give him the guaranteed money that he wanted so he split.

For sure HOF'r. And if I owned a team, I'd take Rogers over all of them. Not because he's better, but because he's much younger.

Yep. 14 in 12. As a rookie. Will never happen again. Opposing coaches see a ballhawk out there, they don't throw to his side anymore. Ask a young Champ Bailey.

Coaches today have tape and tendencies on every player in every situation. Too many advantages versus the coaches way back when.

you're getting closer, but still no.

how about he threw it to the wrong side of welker's route as he was running, and high.

welker had to do a 360 in midair to get his hands on the ball at all.

should he have made the catch?  well he got his hands on it, but his body was taking him the other way..tough catch. he probably makes it 7 out of ten times
