IMO Coleman was good but later on the wow factor was just mass mass mass!! Many will disagree but even Coleman couldn't carry Coleman mass without sacrificing condition and the bloated gut, but I will admit he was the best at doing it in 03, 04.

Cormier is what bbing should be about balance and mass with conditioning

Yes, Colemans frame was not intended to carry 285 pounds.
It was a sight to behold but the thighs got too big, the gut grew out
and the waist grew wider. He was very freaky but sacrificed some detail
but more important sacrificed shape.
This screencap from 99 looks awesome... small waist, wide shoulders,
big but not overpowering thighs...good balance.

Virtually every bodybuilder over a certain bodyweight has one flaw or another. It comes with trying to maintain perfect balance with huge muscles. Hard to find a bodybuilder with no flaws in any pose.

I know dont how many of you guys have stood next to phil but he is not a narrow guy, he is not super wide like some of the bodybuilding freaks out there but compared to the average bodybuilder he is wide.

He's not narrow , narrow.. But his shoulder girdle is narrow for his own structure

Exactly. If he was 6" shorter, then his shoulder width would probably fit his structure, but it looks odd to be so narrow at his height.

Oliva only lacked conditioning, structurally zero problems, detail everywhere, tiny waist, great flow.

Reeves the same.

Bannout had a really short torso and limbs.
