Because you are travelling and it's always an adventure to go somewhere totally different and experience different things/foods etc.

I was born there and haven't been back since 1994.

It's just like any "typical westernized" country with all conveniences and amenities you'd expect to find stateside.

Basically a rule to remember is that a great majority are distrusting and hesitant of strangers, sort of a defense mechanism. You might sense people come off as "cold".

But being American, especially from California you will be treated better almost held in a lime light.
Few Americans I know were there 2 years ago and they told me that they were treated very well.

Yeah, in all seriousness, friends that have been there have mentioned that it is probably closest to the Mid-west in feel. It has a religious and conservative bend to it that tends to soften with the younger people. You might like it a lot, for many years they were one of the biggest backers of Reagan style politics in Europe.

Bigotry is strong in all of Europe. It's an all white continent that just recently has fallen victim to multiculturalism.

For some reason this is not very surprising.

I'm good with this. Although I travel about 15-20k a year in the US, I still hate to fly . Supposef to be going to Australia later in the year. Can't wait for that.

A lot of racism there, white power skinheads and all. Don't you have a Mexican last name? May be better not to use it in public  :P

Where exactly are you going? I know Krakow is notorious for foreigners being beaten up in public.

The Polish were apparently awesome during the World Cup hosting. Decent people but can come off as cold, it's just the way they are but if you get to know them they're awesome. The women are ridiculous.

lol, so you bench with chains and are some fighter?

listen, you homosexual, this doent impress anyone in eastern europe, in eastern europe some random twink will slash you fat throat just for saying youre some fighter.

theres pussies, like americans who will have respect and stuff if you say youre into mma, and theres folks who will mess you up just for say
you best not boast or hint youre some fighteover there, its not the internet there, its half a nation with nothing to loose

1. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm the furthest thing from a homosexual you'll find on this board.

2. I'm not the fighter you illiterate dick head. As most in here can testify.
