Ha...good one.   So it's your contention that no one who heads a department is responsible for what happens on thier watch?  That's a ridiculous statement...almost as ridiculous as the White House attemting to deflect criticism onto the State Department.   Americans don't like weasels...using "hey ..nobody told me" as an excuse when you're in charge is weasel 101.

And Romeny's tax plan wil work...if you get government out of the way of business to a degree that people are comfortable with investing the benefits of tax reform.
your right. the president, vice president, and secretary of state should be notified of every thing that happens at every embassy worldwide without exception.

...if  a tax deduction is to cause a significant increase in economic output it then the level of tax before tthe deduction needs to be such that it significantly reduces output and the tax deduction itself will need to be significant as well.  neither of those things are currently the case.. the  tax rates are modest (lower than they have been in 60 years) and arent a big drain on the economy and romney's proposed deductions arent big enough to make any real difference anyways.
