Rhoden is a lot closer to Flex than people give him credit.
Rhoden is a little over 240 and Flex didn't compete over
240 until 1999.
Rhoden has been in shape every show.
The big difference is Flex's back especially the BDB smokes Rhoden's.
The flip side Flex had an incredible hard time getting in shape from glutes on down
from the back and Rhoden doesn't.
Flex was in shape 92 USA 93 Arnold and Olympia, 96 NOC and 98 ASC
Rhoden has nailed every show. Flex had better arms but Rhoden's torso
looks more like a heavyweights than Flex's.
He's no Flex Wheeler but a solid 7-8 pounds of conditioned muscle
may put him on that same scale.
i was going to post the same thing. The thing that always put me off flex was that he had implants (check them out in his early career shots- and then a season and BAM!..there they are, no separation... and then there's the mediocre chest and back and quads.
his rear DB was/is the greatest ever, and his arms were insane, and his lats and delts and cartoony arms made for serious flowing exaggerated lines...
BUT...
He wasnt this greatest of all time BB. People seem to think he was god. Levrone was better, Haney was better, by old skool standards, arnie was better as was sergio. Dex was better, coleman also... labrada and him were neck and neck- he's down the list...and thats WITH the implants and (synthol?)...
