This monstrosity just placed 2nd in the Arnold/Europe. It's official! Competetive Bodybuilders now NEVER need to train calves.

No one in the top 6 had outstanding calves, Ronny Rockell and the Polish guy has reasonable calves, the rest are all sub par with the exception of Rhoden, who's calves are good enough just to scrape by!

Palumboism Stage 1 setting in. His phenomenal structure hides the midsection issues, but his muscle insertions are regressing all over. Sad to see this happen to Dennis

Sad to see this happen to Dennis He's just flat like a pancake (once again). He looks exactly like he did at the NY Pro couple of years ago. Not a good look for him. He'd do better sacrificing a lil conditioning but to come in full instead. At his height and with his long muscle bellies coming in even slightly flat is fatal.

As for his left calf, it appears that it doesn't have anything to do with not training it. It looks atrophied or something. Must have done something to it.

Arnold show have very specific lighting, maybe even bad. Some bodyparts stick out and some look completely hidden. Dennis is big, conditioned and marketable, but second place is a present for him (as third for Roelly).

bizzare. he must have been seo-ing his calves and damaged nerves. even if he stopped training them they would not atrophy like they did if he hadn't.
