Cool, are you related to Sherlauxque by any chance?

Holmes?

I'm pretty sure he was a fictitious character.

I did have an Uncle named John who died when I was a kid.

Didn't know we had such a celebrity in the gamingbusiness here on the boards, just thought we only had billionaires and models here.

Great accomplishments Stu!

What's your next project?

What is EAs mentality towards gaming of today Tu?

What genres (beside sportgames) do they find is more lucrative and more worth to spend resources and money on?

MMORPGs? Adventures? RTS? FPS? Fightinggames? etc

Honestly, I think we are finding adventure games more lucrative... RTS is a very small market being PC only... FPS is fine if it's interesting but the FPS genre is saturated... Fight Games are cool in small doses. MMORPGs are done... If you're not World of Warcraft, you're not making it... We took a beating on Star Wars: The Old Republic.

It was good, but people didn't flock to it... It just didn't do what it needed to do... Especially after 5 years of development. (I like it btw... It was just barren as far as players goes... A big part of the MMO is the Multiplayer part... You need a lot of players.)

Even WoW is kind of dying. I played SWTOR for a bit... like you said, it was dead. It was fun for a while but it wore off fast.

Just finished the single player.... great game. Great storyline. Sensed a lot of "Act of Valor" type influence.

I see, thanks for the info Tu.

You see, i have an idea for a new game.

It could be either a Platformer / RPG-combo or Adventure game with Action-sequences.

In the game (Could be called "World of GB"), you can meet characters such as SquadFather, take cruisetrips with Go4It, flip tires and build cankles with Chaos, do camshows with booty, get dieting and boxing-tips from Johnny Falcon (which will increase Fighting-stats) and so forth.

It is a game that needs to be made. With all the Getbig-characters.

What genre would fit the best though?

Adventure style... Like GTA or Red Dead Redemption.

Yeah GTA-style would probably be best.

What do you think of the idea, can we make it happen?

This will return all the money lost on SWTOR

1st Expansion could be called "The Great KIGS-Scam" or "Return to Hotel Mirage"

I think he is a systems administrator.

He probably manages user accounts, file servers, database servers, virtual machines and networks.

Basically making sure the company's/department's computer infrastructure runs properly. And that developers have what they need to develop. And more.

This is part of it... definitely.

I also manage our build farm... We have about 100 or so servers in our environment that are dedicated to actually "Building the game".

These servers basically take the source code... parallelize (No... it's not a word, but should be) the code and data build aspect... compiles and what not... and spit a completed build out.

I also manage large high speed storage for Video Editing and Cinematics. (Special Effects)
