When I was 18 (although doing well at university, I was hooked on coke, selling weed to fund this, generally depressed - had a pretty poor upbringing) Jesus found me to be honest, I went to a local event put on by chritians in my town, at the end I prayed something along lines of 'Jesus if you're real, I repent of every sin, come and help me/change me' I got up from that prayer completely a changed man, couldn't even touch a cigarette it was a powerful experience. 10 years on, still a christian and following Christ. |
