While yes, he's still rich, a guy with his ego is yes, FUCKED. He will be looked at as an embarrasment to the general public. A guy like him wont be able to handle it especially being touted as the best of all time in his craft.

He wont recover unless he spills the beans on everything and at this point, thats not a bad idea.

If you knew anything about cycling you would know that Evans is clean as a whistle. He is one of the few who bonks on big hills, has bad days and basically rides like a natural rider does! You can see the riders taking gear because they are the ones who just keep accelerating up a hill when the best in the world are left behind and no one is THAT much better than the others at this level.

Notice how poorly Contador performed when he came back from suspension? Because he was off the peds. Contador is till an outstanding rider but not like he was on the gear. Another thing about Evans, he prides himself on having never been beaten by someone who hasn't tested positive at least once, except for Wiggins at the moment.

Seems similar to Baseball when all the HR records were being broken. A sport finds an athlete that brings in huge sponsorship dollars. They milk it dry and then find rightousness years later...most likely because new evidence surfaces. Who's going down? Not the big money makers.

We've all heard that.

When fishing in a pond of hundreds only one is going to get caught, and usually the biggest and brightest one.

Lance got caught...it's his own fault. Maybe everyone cheated but he was the most noticeable by far. He should have prepared himself.

The NFL is bigger and faster than ever, but not necessarily better to watch than it was 30-40 years ago. Now in a sport like baseball, juicing made the game much more exciting to watch.

We are asking because we've never seen where he failed any tests... That's part of the problem.

I have not personally read or seen where he failed one.

AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) - A Texas promotional company that paid millions of dollars to Lance Armstrong for winning the Tour de France said on Monday it was considering legal action to get the money back after the American cyclist was stripped of his Tour titles.

Armstrong had his seven Tour de France victories nullified and was banned for life on Monday after the International Cycling Union (UCI) ratified the United States Anti-Doping Agency's (USADA) sanctions against him.

Dallas-based SCA Promotions paid Armstrong $7.5 million for winning his sixth Tour title in 2004 - $5 million as a performance bonus and $2.5 million in interest and attorney fees - as part of a 2006 legal settlement. Armstrong had sued SCA when it withheld the payment after doping allegations against him surfaced.

Tailwind Sports, the owner of Armstrong's U.S. Postal team, had promised the cyclist a $5 million bonus if he won a sixth Tour title and it took out insurance coverage with SCA.

In all, SCA Promotions paid Armstrong some $12 million, the company's lawyer Jeffrey Dorough said.

It was unclear exactly how much SCA may seek to recover.

"Mr. Armstrong is no longer the official winner of any Tour de France races, and as a result it is inappropriate and improper for him to retain any bonus payments made by SCA," Dorough said in a statement.

He said SCA Promotions was "digesting the UCI's decision" and that the company was taking into consideration the possibility that Armstrong or the World Anti-Doping Agency could appeal.

Earlier this month, USADA published a report on Armstrong that said the now-retired rider had been involved in the "most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."

"I was sickened by what I read in the USADA report," UCI President Pat McQuaid said on Monday.

Armstrong, 41, who has denied doping, had previously elected not to contest the USADA charges, prompting USADA to propose his punishment pending confirmation from cycling's world governing body.

Armstrong, widely considered one of the greatest cyclists of all time, says he has never failed a doping test.

He said he had stopped contesting the charges after years of probes and rumors because "there comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, 'Enough is enough.'"

No he didn't. Just today the French labs say he was suspicious but didnt fail any tests. Lance was taken down by Floyd "the drunk" Landis and Tyler "the whiner" Hamilton.
