Gonna disagree with you one this on Joe. By definition a bodybuilder is an athlete as they are proficient at a form of exercise. Also by definition bodybuilding is a sport as they're posing involves physical exertion and the poses themselves involve skill not only to perfect the pose, but to be able to contract the muscles in a coordinating manner. ath·lete/ˈaTHlēt/Noun: A person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise. sport/spôrt/Noun: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others.

This should put the subject to rest.

By your logic beauty pageants should be considered sports too and so any competition were "looks" are judged, which is essentially what bodybuilding is.

Well, a woman is born beautiful, other than the bought/enhanced bodyparts (breasts, lips, makeup hair), all one has to do is so up and look good in a dress and smile.

You obviously don't have a clue as to what it feels like to be up there flexing in that condition, extremely exhausting, everyone up there are over exerting themselves and just seconds away of fainting hardly comparable to a beauty pageants role. Read the definition again, it says PHYSICAL EXERTION Beauty pageants do not require physical exertion.
