There is no need for them to do that since Obama did the exact same thing in his last meeting with Putin.
romney will do fine as president. he's surrounded himself with enough badasses from the bush regime that are itching for war.
My concern is that yes, we will be in a war with Iran by fall of 2013. No doubt about it. Just like Bush. Somebody will do something, it'll be the trigger the neocons around him are wanting, and we'll have Iraq II.
Only this time, many conservatives are saying "We can't afford an elective war!" back in 2003, everyone's dick was hard for war. This time? Not so much.
Obama was clueless when he started, and much more confident now, but the team around him, and the team around romney, keep america safe from either man delivering too many fck-ups. Now I don't think the economic conditions will exist for romney's predictions to come true. heck, he's given us a dozen gaffes that should end any campaign - but people overlook them because the hate for obama is so greeat.
So yeah, I still think obama will find a way to eke out a close election. But if Romney does take it, not that much will change. More confidence and gung-ho from the FOX radio small business guy. A whole lot of "what did romney REALLY change", and of course, an end to the tea party. Love it or hate it, Romney is Bush, Romney is not the tea party. A lot of their 2010 winners will lose this time, Dems keep senate, and normalcy returns to the GOP now. Tea party is a footnote. Notice none of those big rallies we saw in 2010. Tea Party is over, even if you dont realize it yet.
