RCP no longer accurate in a number of battleground states
« on: October 25, 2012, 07:13:37 AM »
A lot of these battleground states have stopped polling...some info they are going by is ancient.  You won't really know if Obama or Romney is winning or losing.... ::)

North Carolina and Florida - RCP Average   10/6 - 10/17
Virginia - RCP Average   10/4 - 10/18
Colorado - RCP Average   10/5 - 10/21
Wisconsin - RCP Average   10/11 - 10/18

Keep dreaming, Vince.

Obama has picked up no new ad buys in North Carolina, as word has been swirling that the Obama camp has all but packed up and left, though they deny it to the hilt (then again, this same Obama camp claims the Libya attack was due to a YouTube video).

Rasmussen has Romney up 6, in North Carolina.

Suffolk pulled out of NC, Florida, and Virginia last week, because (according to their data) barring some drastic change, Romney is practically running away with those states.

As for ancient data, ever take a gander at Michigan. The most recent poll has it TIED. Obama's RCP average lead is 4. But, look at the dates of the other polls that make up that average: Oct 10, 11, and 17.

In New Hampshire, one poll has it a tie, dated Oct. 12  Three of the remaining four polls (more recent) have Romney up.

Notice you didn't mention that, in your critique.

You two grow more desperate by the day. Jumping from poll to poll, to find stuff with Obama leading, despite the trends showing him slipping.

The Obama campaign paid for ads 6 weeks in advance....they're still running here...believe me along with every other ad out there.

As far as the other states...I only printed out sample...I'm not going to go through all 50 fucking states.... ::)

They've pulled many of their negative ads.

And, nobody asked you to go through all 50 states. This is about the SWING STATES, which Michigan and New Hampshire are.

You conveniently left them out, because (per RCP) Obama leads in them. But, using your own argument, many of the poll that give them that lead are about AS "ancient" as those in the ones you cited.

The "them" to which I was referring were New Hampshire and Michigan (states Obama should have locked up but are NOW swing states). Nobody asked to go through all 50 states, because there aren't 50 swing states.
