I'm in favor of a license to have children...but how is this enforced? I'd be also in favor in sterilization of third world populations that are solely dependent on relief efforts and UN support. (Few African nations...etc) WHy let these people continue to procreate if they can't even feed themselves?  The resources used on these people can be utilized in many more productive ways.

I have a Fire Fighter/Paramedic instructor that told me he had a call for a woman in labor in an alley. (shady part of town in Chicago)
Upon arrival he sees her finishing a bottle of beer before she smashed it on the ground. She then pulls out a glass pipe out of purse and was fumbling for a lighter. He then sees her water is broken...as she's yelling obscenities at him and she's in no pain at all. She's high on crack and drunk and about to give birth. They take her into the ambulance and some random guy starts pounding on the ambulance saying he wants his money back. ...it was her John she just fucckkked a few minutes ago demanding his money back because her water broke all over his pants as he was fucking her. They rush her to the hospital and as she is giving birth the dude's semen flows out and about 20 seconds later the crack baby was born.
She checked herself out of the hospital without the kid and was on the streets the same night.

This story is pretty extreme and not normal but I think it happens more than people care to think about.
