It's unfair to look at just the geared and super heavies as a representation of the sport. Pre - multi layer suit and lower weight class powerlifters were always mostly in decent shape, at least the pros were.

The russians are beasts to watch, some of the meets over there are awesome, almost like the grand old era we had here in the 80's.

BTW 243, it looks like we finally got a decent government over here, coalition with both liberals and social democrats. I'm always glad when there's not a religious (christian) party involved.
