Unfortunately, this is considered fair play when dealing with 0bama and his party; fight fire with fire.

For instance: even my local news several weeks ago claimed that the proposed voter ID requirement stood to hurt the democrats, who staunchly opposed it. Why aren't the republicans opposing, or even concerned about it?

Anyone of any race and age can easily obtain a state ID, so getting one isn't the issue. The ability (or, rather inability) to keep the voting process/results honest seems to be the only reason to oppose the requirement.

 Every week there is democratic registration fraud.. They find more and more as the days go by.. Florida, Ohio ect.. Why do you think Obama if fighting against his own military who wants more time to vote based on their situation.. Obama wants to fight that based of the military's history for voting repub.. I'm not sure you should care. However, I think that being foreign to the US gives me some objectivity you are lacking that's for sure. The country I am from is perhaps the best in the world on almost every measure, blame Canada. Seriously though, your politics impact our economy pretty heavily.

I think it's legitimate and not sure why you find it hilarious. After all, elections today frequently have repercussions that go beyond the borders of the country in which they're held, and that goes doubly for the United States and a few other countries.

As for not being able to name a Canadian politician - I don't know that that applies to all Americans, as you claim; but even if it did, so what? Most Americans (you, most likely included) also can't name one element from the actinide series. What does that prove, exactly, apart from the fact that you can't name any?
