It's been almost 2 months after Wes' last post.
Considering his age (born in the 19th century) he must have gone to the other side.... 
This is faulty reasoning. If anything, his age indicates that he is liable to take longer breaks, since they only appear long to us but in reality aren't that long for someone so ancient.
Think of it in evolutionary terms, 100 years is a long time to us but virtually
nothing in evolutionary time; analogously, 2 months is a long time for us but
nothing in Wes-time. The ancient one is simply lying dormant until his next "posting cycle" 142 years from now.
