"Thinkprogress"? No propaganda there. Going to refute proof and signed affidavits?

This is what the military folk think about the "time line"

"These are the key points I take from this story. Anyone who knows better, please correct me if I'm wrong.

1) A small force of about six men without sufficient weapons was the only immediately available QRF.

2) The only additional response to the attack was provided by the CIA in Tripoli, who sent a six man team that didn't have their own way to get to the consulate.

3) By the time the former SEALs were killed, around nine hours had passed since the attack began. Military aircraft could have been in the battle space by that time.

4) Concerns over Libya's sovereignty played a role in the decision not to send military forces. (Strange that didn't seem to bother the administration last year)

5) Classified information has been leaked which makes the administration's response to the attack look reasonable (to the public, not to us).

6) The administration is showcasing its weak, disjointed response as proof that it handled the attack in a competent manner.

Seems to me the BLUF is that our administration "doing everything it could" consisted of letting 12 guys total from two different CIA teams get to the consulate on their own."
