Buy a weatherproof jacket, I love training in the rain, especially in the mountains, quiet, peaceful, all the wankers stay home, nature all to your self. And their is something meditative about the rain. I love it. Years ago, I also purchased a heap of training tops and shorts made out of some cool material that doesn't hold water, the moment it stops raining, the water just evaporates, they dry very quickly.

How that affects anything I just pull on my hood over my head, roll the sleeves and hit the road. People seeing me running in the rain probably think I'm some sort of special force training in public while on vacation... but I don't mind. It's OK.

Man, talk about it !! Totally different world and definitely good exercising. I remember putting on sneakers after the boots it feels like you are in space or something with the lightness Easy to brake your legs with them at the beginning when you are not used to run in boots, though.

QFT. Rain shouldn't stop you. When it's pouring I use to go to the boardwalk by the beach and run. It was like I was the last man on earth or a rich guy running on his private boardwalk. It does put you into calm peaceful mood. In a crazy down pour I ran on trail by be running in crazy puddles.

You could wear this while running in the rain. People would think you're a badass crossfitter training for the crossfit world championships. May get some tail.
