I mean cmon who honestly thought back in 2008 Obama would nto get elected. that was one of the most racially driven elections in history, same will go when they put a woman on the ballot. When Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton ran for President, they lost the black vote big time to Bill Clinton......Despite what the media says.....blacks aren't voting for Obama because he's black....its because they don't want to vote for someone like Romney who doesn't care about any color except green.

afaik a very high % of blacks in the US have historically voted democrat. no doubt the black vote turn out has increased because the candidate is black.

but then again i would bet there is a significant % of whites that vote against obama because they don't like the idea of a black president.

so probably a case of swings and roundabouts.

Roughly 95% vote for Obama.  And no it's not just because he's black, more becaucse he is black and truly is a legit presidential candidtate.  Not a black fool lock most blacks who have ran in the past.
