DC is a high crime and mostly oppressed part of the country. This is what Obama mostly targeted, these are his demographics, mostly people looking for a handout. Here is a quick example. Romney is in favor of giving a choice to parents of what schools they wanted to send their kids to try to provide a better education for them, yet instead of voting for the obvious that might provide a better future, they vote for the opposite. there are many more but this is one that came to mind. |

OK just wanted to make sure I understood your point, I grew up in the DC area and went to college at George Washington University, right in downtown DC. It is high crime, but it doesn't even make it in the top 10 most high crime/dangerous cities in the US (DC is ranked 21st) http://www.examiner.com/article/fbi-releases-top-25-most-dangerous-cities-america-list-for-2012Don't agree with you. No I wouldn't concur that he got 92% for solely being black. But I'd be an idiot to say that it didn't help him. Yes... I know some black people that only voted for Obama because he's black.... But that doesn't mean that this is the case for all black people! Just like I know there are white people that only voted for Romney because Obama is black.... this doesn't mean that all white people are of the same mentality! And you missed the second part of my statement... DC is a very "political" city, I lived there for over 10 years, many people there work with or have some sort of involvement with the president and his cabinet / administration, regardless if Chicago is really his home turf... DC is home turf too! If this makes any sense! |
