Karl Rove showing the sour grapes...actually blames Obama for suppressing the vote with negative ads!!!!....meanwhile he ignores the Republicans actually trying to suppress the vote by limiting voting hours and trying to tighten ID laws.....AMAZING

and how about Rove still trying to say that Romney could still win OHIO..EVEN AFTER FOX NEWS CALLED IT FOR OBAMA..thus putting FOX news on the hotseat by insinuating their calculations were wrong....this then led to a bizarre sequence where the anchor, Megyn Kelly had to embarrass Rove on live national TV by interrupting Rove, contradicting him, going backstage with cameras in tow, and then consulting with the number-crunchers who confirmed that FOX's prediction was accurate!!!!

Rush Limbaugh melting down today and knocking Boehner by stating that Boehner is a traitor to the Republican party beause Boehner says he wants to make a deal with Obama and now supports Obamacare....

Hannity doing an about-face and now stating he supports the DREAM ACT....after knocking Obama for years about his support of the very same law......AMAZING

and finally, Herman Cain goes on CNN and says that he wants to start a third Party because he believes the Republicans are incapable of winning any more!!!

YAWN!! This is nothing more than the usual post-election blues. We heard similar stuff from the libs back in 2004.

Boehnner declared the house will now leave obamacare alone.

hannity declared his love for DREAM act.

More on the way, you know it - the RINO leadership trying to pull party from extreme, cause it didn't sell in 2012.

What are you talking about? The GOP put their most "moderate" guy, their hand-picked, no-social-issues-talking, most presidential, most reach-across-the-aisle-and-compromised guy centerstage...AND HE GOT HIS BACKSIDE LIT UP!!

He did worse than McCain, which I didn't think was possible. All he had to do was equal McCain's turnout and he'd be on his way to the Oval Office.

He won the independents, got within arms reach of Obama in early voting, even got more white working class in his corner. But, he couldn't even turnout the base and paid for it.

Sell out to the Dems and keep your base at home. Yep, that will get you re-elected.  ::)

romney might have been the most moderate guy - BUT during the primaries, he signed tax pledge, promised to end PP, and plenty of other far far right things.

Even though he was a moderate as governor, he PROMISED to be an extremist as president.

The superpacs let the primaries go 2 months longer than usual, during which time santorum and newt forced romney to agree to a bunch of stuff he obviously didn't agree with - BUT swing voters got to see the video of him promising to be a nutjob.

Problem is the guy who wins the GOP nomination has to support values like limited rights for woman, religion, military spending etc
They have to be the lobbyists puppet and in the presidential election voters have higher knowledge and education so its harder to sell them a lie
In the GOP primary lies is the way to go because of the limited level of knowledge in the average repub voter

Republicans did NOT go moderate this election. They couldn't shut up about rape and abortion and they paid the price.

which is the most ironic thing.  Romney WAS a moderate.  however, he was painted as a nutjob because he spent so much time pandering and promising things to nutjobs.

south carolina, florida, penn... the fact the primacy season just wouldn't end... really hurt romney.  He kept agreeing to things that didn't match his moderate record.  Ending up being the jaywalker who confessed to ten murders he didn't do, if that makes sense?

That's the point he couldn't equal mccains turnout, he had less support. Perhaps the base is changing, ever consider that?

Also Romney did not criticize Republicans who were running for senate and who made offensive rape comments against women

he made little obligatory statements "I disagree", etc... but he should have attacked and asked the man to stop using his endorsement in ads.

Romney didn't want to piss off the base, ended up they didn't bother voting for him anyway.

Romney had to Push way Right in the Primaries and "Out Conservative" the other GOP Hopefuls. But he couldnt work his way back to the middle in time for the election without looking like a complete Flip Flop

however, can you imagine what Santorum {wash your hands if you get that on them} and Bachman would have had to say about those topics???

Koch brothers went extreme and used Mitt as a guinea pig. BAD call.    Their guidance destroyed him.

Mitt would have won in 2008.  Economic whiz, young and energetic, a moderate.

in 2012, Mitt was forced to BECOME one of the far-right extremists.   Moderate voters didn't like it, and conservative voters didn't buy it.

Compromised is right. How could people in their right minds vote for someone who couldn't stand for something?

ROTFLMAO  Hearing that, ...especially from you just gives me the giggles.

Glad to see one diehard Republican that can at least face reality, and hasn't gone over the deep end in denial.

Have you forgotten that he ran in 2008 and got his ass kicked in the primaries?
