I've been experiencing more pulled muscles lately....pec/delt tie-in, around my rhomboids, lower biceps, occassionally a calf. I warm up, I stretch, etc.....is it just age? I'm only 37.

Yes, it's age. Sarcopenia usually begins in your late 20's to early 30's. Just accept it, and you'll be a whole lot better off. I've accepted the fact that I will never be able to lift like I used to be able to in my 20's. It's depressing, but it's a fact of life.

Lighter weights, more reps, go for the burn/pump. Stop training heavy. Well, that's what worked for me anyways.
I used to bench 365 for 8 sets of 3 reps. Now, not only do I not bench anymore, but if I press at all for chest, it's using dumbells, for 3 sets of 15-20, and I rarely use about 70lbs. Know what? My chest looks better.
I switched from heavy lifting (like all those strength coaches on T-Nation tell you to) to lifting more like Vince Taylor - lots of reps, sets, go for a pump/burn, leave a few reps in the tank on every set, train fast, keep the weights pretty light, go for perfect form.
Know what? I actually got bigger, and muscles are fuller. I think my body looks better. It certainly feels better...I haven't been hurt in the 6 months I switched to this type of training. Meanwhile, when I was doing the usual Wendler/5-3-1/westside training, I was hurt every couple months.
I'm probably not as strong or explosive as I used to be. But who cares...I'm not trying to run the 100m dash and I'm not playing college football anymore. I'm just some guy in his mid 30's trying to stay in the gym and not turn into a pile of shit. Just want to look good.
Bob Chick had it right, after all. God damn him.

Some of you should be ashamed to even talk about age, being in your 30's/40's:
