it's one thing to like battlefield or halo more than call of duty, they are different types of shooters

medal of honor tries to be exactly like call of duty but it comes up way short, the reviews are not wrong

i played medal of honor in 2010, it wasn't bad but it felt like a generic call of duty, people saying medal of honor is better are the type that has to knock anything that's popular

I haven't been a big gamer for about 10 years but I wanted to get this game for sometime just on storyline alone.  This is the first game I've bought this year and the last one will be Walking Dead, December 4th. That sucks about motion sickness.  Mt best friend gets the same way sometime but he's really good at first person shooters.

Knock anything thats popular my ass. I was a huge CoD fan up until MW1. After that, its all down hill. MoH plays nothing like CoD, its very much a more tactical shooter, rather than a "run, gun, and twitch" shooter like CoD. BF3 slays them all.

BTW, MW3 wasn't even the same team that did the original series. Part of the reason why it sucked ass.

id Software in the Commander Keen days was ace. 
Those shitty "Warfarter 2045", "Oil Boom : Bicep Of Peace" and "Youth Today: Private Military Tomorrow" games are destroying the market.

Only positive thing is that at least some part of the youth is able to hold onto its balls be it they decide to bang for the army... so it's all good.

Greetings fellas.  I just picked up the game and am about to pop in my 360.  Did anyone else pick it up or plan to?  I just read an IGN review giving it a 9.3/10 calling it one of the best first person shooters of the decade.  Halo 4 received a 9.8/10 but I'm not a Halo guy.

Gamespot gave H4 a 9/10 and Black Ops Dos an 8.  Ouch!

I tend to agree with you though, Wiggster:  while I am a Halo guy to a degree, I think the CODs are more fun.  And they've just gotten better and better since the Modern Warfare yarn started.

I've still barely played Halo: Reach, the first Black Ops and Fallout: New Vegas   I need to finish at least one of them on a reasonable difficulty level before I can justify buying another game ...

... unless it's old-school Castlevania.  I'd literally pay $100 (or trade a quality bottle of Test E) for Symphony of the Night 2.

Lets put it this way... Call of Duty is Call of Duty - if that makes any sense!

I liked it....  I think I may have liked the story of Black Ops 1 and MW3 more... but I liked the future elements in this game, and some of the weapons and toys!


Now to go back to Halo 4

I want to add something that I just discovered.... there are 4 (or even more) VERY DIFFERENT endings... like DRASTICALLY different depending on choices that you make (choices that you may think are not that big of a deal but they actually are)...  I didn't realize this till I started watching videos on youtube!

This makes it very different than past COD games!
