awesome film i hope they don't americanize bond ever again like they did with pierce brosnam. it was everything a bond film should be.
brosnan started off great with golden eye! a real bond movie...
but sadly ended in parody - the one where a badly computer animated bond surfs a tidal wave. craigs movies are a huge up from this low point
"A Tsunami of Embarrassment
Movie: Die Another Day (2002)
Pierce Brosnan's fourth and final Bond has plenty of oddities to choose from: Bond with a beard, a bad guy with diamonds embedded in his face, a hotel made entirely of ice, and even an awkward cameo from Madonna. And while some fans will argue vehemently that 007's invisible car is the most ridiculous moment of this or any other Bond film, there is an even more laughable moment. With a glacier collapsing below him, James Bond kite-surfs a tidal wave. He kite-surfs a tidal wave. Even Brosnan broke down in a laughing fit recalling the scene in the recent Bond documentary "Everything or Nothing."
How was Pierce Brosnan Americanized?
They became computer animated pure action movies a la america, science fiction rather and espionage and gadgets.
and denise richards with her silicone tits as a computer scientist haha.
overall they started to feel like ordinary action movies, like you could switch out ethan hunt in mission impossible 3, and replace him with bond.
mostly they were bad, more than americanized
