I've seen this on PressTV. Unbelievable documentary. Tried for the longest time to find it! An absolute powerful explanation of what the western way of life is all about and how kids are trained from a young age. It's all about shaping the mindset of 'have fun', 'enjoy life', 'only one life', spend spend spend until you die. Kid, teenager, young adult, to adult and to old fart. Just spend spend spend and this is all there is to life.

EVERYONE should watch this and not just parents. Not everyone is as intelligent or educated in media. I went to school for media, 24kt you were in the movie industry, etc... but most people are too naive or with too little of an attention span to realize any of this. Not everyone has a keen eye for detail or critical thinking ability.

I've seen this documentary and it is well worth a view.  One of the benefits of my childhood was that my family did not have a television in the house until I was ten years old.  They wanted to limit the influence of advertisers on my young impressionable brain and encourage critical thinking.
