Bro 09 was not that long ago and I think everyone agrees except you and gthang and like 3 others that Jay's 09 version would spank Phil to oblivion. Also you are forgetting according to the scores Jay had the biggest point spread in bodybuilding history in 09. Don't get me wrong there is a 90% chance of Jay not winning but weirder things have happened in bodybuilding. In fact in the last 6 years the most unexpected things have been done. Everything everyone claimed to be impossible was done, a few example..


Everyone thought a current Mr. O could not be dethroned and it happened 4 times in the last 6 years.

Then Dexter will never win an O, Labrada tried, Ray tried and it looked like it was the land of the giants but Dexter pulled it off.

Then 07 and 08 Jay looked like complete garbage should not have made even 4th place especially 07 and we thought he was done and he came back in 09 in his best showing ever.

One thing is almost certain Phil is at the cross roads in terms of size, the added size from last year hurt him, his frame can not pack on any more muscle, he is enormous no daubt but unlikely to improve and his best falls short of Jay's 09 big time, every judge on the planet will agree with this regardless of your opinion.

In my books I think all this Phil and Jay talk is meaningless if Kai brings it anyway.

Bingo. While yes, 09 was Jay's best condition, it's always the leg shot they show.  Kai is a better bodybuilder than Jay. Has been for a while.  They're the same height, around the same weight at their best.

Well we are not discussing what should've could've would've happened or what your opinions are, we are discussing how the IFBB judges are going to judge Cutler and you have to be smoking crack to think an IFBB judge would take any version of Heath over an 09 Cutler and yes I agree Jay has had many gifts but again we are discussing 'judges perspective" not opinions.

At his best, Jay easily out masses Heath- and Kai. His best conditions equalled theirs too. I just think his body is getting chemically tired- he's not old/ not even 40 yet, but high dosing for a long time- probably 15 years or more...?
