denied hermann cain the presidency.

He will be remembered as one of the lying stiffs that the Republicans foolishly nominated for President shortly before the United States went bankrupt and became a third world slum.

Huh?

Cain was a clueless fck.

BUT

The tea party loved him.
The repubs party considered him a 'victim' of all those lying accusers
He was entertaining as shit for FOX, and for a dumbshit elecorate
He would have neutralized obama's lead with minorities.

Cain would have beaten obama in 2012.  not because he was a hair smarter than Palin - but because he was entertaining and had way more confidence than IQ points.   Mitt was smart but lacked confidence.

He'll be forgotten by history very quickly, or remembered as an "also ran". Nothing more IMHO.

Cain is cool but would never beat Obama.
He would be exposed in a debate.

I wouldn't put him in the same sentence as Mccain or Mondale.

Dole, yes. Very forgettable and irrelevant.

mondale and dole lost against hugely powerful and popular presidents.

Mitt lost in a near landslide to a guy who was Carter II.   Especially bad.  He wasn't running against Clinton 96 or Reagan 84.  He was up against Carter 80, after obamacare and terrible UE rate.

As though the dems have cornered the market on honesty. Neither party is for "the people". Both are for the money and power.

Daddys boy with a superiority complex wrapped up inside an awkward, robotic, strained persona. Who just couldn't match the overwhelmingly cool and pragmatic first black president.

he was able to fool GOP voters for a while.  Completely clueless on foreign policy, and kept selling a 999 plan that most agreed wouldn't work... and a very weak liar on all his shady personali life shit "i've never done anything inappropriate in 43 years... but I did hide this lez chick from my wife for 11 years..."

He was up by 20+ points in polls at times.

Romney and obama were both very skilled liars.

Cain was a poor liar.  He was.  Remember him saying he'd take a poly?  Remember him saying he never did antyhing inappropriate in 43 years of marriage?  Nobody believed that, nobody did...

Cain was a good businessman with a cool pizza thing going... but he was all sizzle, no steak.  Stupider than a bag od hair.  STILL - GOP base voters probably would have showed up on election day for him - something they didn't do for Romney.

He'll be remembered for Bain, the Olympics and as Governor of Massachusetts.   The Presedential run will be a one liner.

His resume was one thing - His continual fliplfopping on positions and pandering to the base is what made him unelectable.

he wanted and NEEDED to be popular in every room he spoke - it led to that 47% comment.  You see grownups like Jeb, hilary - they don't NEED to pander to everyone in the room.  They'll straight up say "You're not going to agree with everything I say, you might hate a lot of it, but I will fix the country!"

Mitt was wearing level 3 pro-tan for a univision interview... visual pandering like never before in history.  He might as well have been wearing a sombrero.

I'm not arguing with you.

As a Republican I had some reservations about this guy coming in and changing his stance on things trying to look like a conservative (Obamacare).  There's no doubt in my mind that he could manage the economy better than Obummer but he was a weak canidate overall.

That might have been the funniest moment of this whole election primary. Rick Perry putting his hands on Ron Paul was pretty laughable as well.

romney ended up running a much weaker campaign than mccain did.  unbelievable.  mccain was up against a pretty strong obama in 2008.

obama was weak in 2012.
