if you are on hemodialysis then your kidneys have already failed----and if they do happen to have a little function (although not enough to keep he or she alive) left the dialysis will shut down all function

watch your potassium and phosphorus intake-binders can help
follow your fluid restrictions
get an access as soon as possible, central lines can get infected easily and since its implanted directly into your heart the mortality rate is high

You and I----seriously cant make this shit up END STAGE RENAL DISEASE is one of the only conditions that medicare fully covers regardless of age, its absolutely crazy, dialysis centers are everywhere and are like factories with people lined up and 3 different shifts of people throughout the day

renal failure is booming due to obesity, diabetes--------just wait a couple more yrs the level is gonna spike bigtime with all the baby boomers aging

Listening to this radio show and listening to these fucking idiots chuckle about having the worst kidney failure in the history of a hospital, as if it is something to be proud of, is frakking despicable. Some people are better off dead and i can only hope these idiots would get passed over on the donor list. Imagine, your kid dies because they miss out on the opportunity to get a kidney because it went to Brad Hollabutt. Why would you even dream of degrading a perfectly good kidney that a child could have made use of. The amount of gay for pay it would be exposed to alone would be enough to cause renal failure.
