Mike has no luck. First his football career with the Jets is over the year before they win the Superbowl. Guys are taking his shirt. Now he can't even stay dead. He is failing at everything.

Rusty ladder i have a rusty home depot ladder they make them with cheap rivets that rust out , im having to keep using some bolt and nut i find to replace the rivets |

I was a contractor for DirecTV.
I fell because i was employing my then Brother-in-law as a helper because he needed work.
I didn't like the ground, was aware of the problem, so i specifically tell him to foot the ladder as i'm going to get off. So I'm dressing wires along the house , put my foot on the ladder to get off and it goes flying, I'm hanging in mid-air for a second thinking "I'm dead" and then i don't remember anything until i woke up in the hospital 6 hours later.
turns out asshole got a phone call from his girlfriend and walked away to talk.
Shit like this doesn't happen if you finish college and work behind the desk, food for thought. |

That sucks. Must be in a lot of pain. Falling off a ladder is no joke, especially when you're over 250 lbs. You need to use the right ladder and stage it properly - I've learned the hard way. I will also not get on a roof at close to 300 lbs.

OTM talled me that you always need two people , one person on the other side of the house and both of you attached by a rope that way if the man on the roof slips he wont fall off the roof cause he will be ancored by the guy on the other side

lol, not both on the roof, one on the ground and the other on the roof. Only one person is working, usually for vent change or small repair on a steep roof. |
