Yeah, its a wonder ANY company is still here. But you still seem to be saying outsourcing is good for America. We have slid in the rankings of global competiveness for many years now and business moves overseas. Outsourcing is not good or bad - its about economic/legal/regulatory/fiscal reality more than anything. Sorry - businesses are not going to be pinatas for greedy leftists, unionists, and politicians, do gooders, etc. Its reality whether you want to understand it or not.

american corporations have been raking in record profits for years now, yet the wages are stagnant or declining. These businesses rely on others to function, time to start treating them properly.

sweat shops child labor poverty wages 12 hour shifts 7 days a week no holidays NO UNIONS no structured time off NO insurance in case of sickness or injury, because shame on those losers, the whole family deserves to starve.
lets have no taxes, no government blah blah blah blah
Obama is a kenyan coke addict.

These are the same unions that in the last major dockworkers strike were blocking conversions from fucking pencil and paper to computers. They feared if their union employees were forced to use such experimental technologies (sorcery, if you will) that the increase in efficiency and workflow would result in fewer jobs.
I also thought I read that there is a protest clause in the current rift related to conversion to electric lighting from open-fire torches, but I could be mistaken.

The unions came into existence as a mass response to a lack of basic labor laws. Today, there is no real need for unions to exist because there are a myriad of labor laws on the books. In addition, their membership in most sectors is falling. However, they do maintain a strong political backing.

OMG. Once again. When a union company is in an area local companies have an income standard to meet. Not as high as the union but as a welder in the union makes 27.00 an hour, the competing company across the street needs to put up its best number for a living wage. Maybe 19.00hr.
Now if NO unions are around then its a matter of what people are willing to work for. With no standard to meet it becomes neighbor against neighbor....Ill work for 12....Ill work for 8.....and down we go.
Also i notice 33333 says the clerical gal doesnt need security and 199k a year (He says thats not fair) But at the same time he'll support a CEO taking a 14 million dollar bonus as the company lays of 11,000 people that year. (Oh gawd NO, we cant tax him 4%)!!! He says she didnt deserve it but the billionaire does. Well its the middleclass (Not sure if 333 is in there)that does all the spending in this country....100's of millions of us...not the 2-3 billionaires.

CEO can't be a CEO without clerical help. But they can lay off thousands report a loss and still take millions in bonuses. Let's root for them because they have America's best interest at heart.

The law is that the CEO's first obligation is to shareholders - no one else.

Unfortunately that's not many of them don't do, in their short sightedness and greed.

These things are a double-edged sword.
Some Unions are great and do a great job making sure employees and shareholders benefit.
Some, just downright destructive

Yeah. And they rake in millions when they dismantle it and run it into the ground...(Ala Twitt Robme) And then lets shove it into an overseas account so America cant circulate it into the system......once again, Treason.
