Saw it in the theatre and thought it sucked.  Not really certain I want to spend even more money on it but it would "complete" the collection.  It's kinda like I already have the first three Indiana Jones films, even the sucky second one.  Do I really want to buy the one where he goes to the Chrystal Cathedral?

I will have to think about this one.

Technically the events depicted in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom took place before Raiders.

You should look into the WD TV Live media hub.  I use that + WD My Book Essential (3tB ea) and just rip the movie from blu-ray (m2ts file).  PHENOMENAL.  I have a shit ton of movies.  I use the online blockbuster thing and AnyDVD to do so.  The WD TV live thing will also stream movies form computer with less than 1ms latency.  So, for this Dark Knight I downloaded the blu-ray 720p rip from ViSION and its awesome.

Sample screen shot:

The WD TVLive Media Hub (about 1/3 the size of a DVD player)

I have 2 of these now, but this is the WD My Book

Ripping a Blu-Ray exactly is about 20 - 40Gb.  I use other tools for when there is subtitles.  Freebie ones that are awesome

your setup is pretty sweet. i like the cataloguing and the info for each film. how big is your screen ? it looks kinda small.. sorry, no dis, lol

way too much work, just download the bluray with bintube and play it while it DL's?

even on my Big Ass TV I cant tell much difference between a well compressed BR and a 40gig uncompressed version

This

was just a little "too much" of everything, except a really good story..as usual in a third movie.

pretty  good movie..not great like the first two

probably watch it again in a few months, let it sit for a while

qft

i couldn't stop thinking "man, avengers was a lot better than this movie..."

honestly, watching the fight scenes was just painful.

just 47"  Dont need bigger TBH

The WD TV Hub is one of the best purchases I have ever made.  $150.  It is also a 1TB storage drive.

As far as Bin tube goes...I pay $19.99 for my blockbuster thing...and I get a lot of use out of it.  I get my stuff through the mail, then can exchange for no charge in the store other blurays.

As of now 300+ blurays

that's plenty big enough.. the picture doesn't really reflect the size though why i thought it looked smaller than it is.

i don't think i could go below 40" ever again..  :P

funny cos on the avsforum, i'm reading people with 100+ inch screens (properly calibrated of course), whining about the switching aspect ratio on the 'the dark knight rises' blu  ::)

oh its a great forum alright, and invaluable for getting settings for your setup..  but they get waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy bogged down in the minute details.. 'halos, ringing, artifacts, edge enhancement', i swear those fuckers must watch their films through powerful binoculars !

Walmart has blu ray and DVD combo for 18 bucks. That's probably the best bet so one can keep a DVD at home and take the blu ray with them for viewing after a long g4p sesh.
suck a dick. Welcome to getbig!
