Germany and Israel have disagreed over the issue of Jewish settlements on Palestinian land. But Chancellor Merkel stopped short of condemning Israeli actions - actions which have left her European partners furious.
Israel is facing increasing isolation on the continent after it announced plans to build 3,000 homes on occupied Palestinian territory. Germany criticised the move but didn't join other EU states who called in Israeli ambassadors to condemn it. Relations between the two have been especially tense after Germany abstained from a UN vote which upgraded Palestine's status in the organization. North western parts are the more appealing ones in my opinion, though the country is so small that it seems you just can walk from one end to the other.
Israelis in general are very active and move a lot due to the ever present threat of attacks and bombs - like little rabbits.
Religion and settlements are a red flag for most and you get verbally attacked if you seem pro judaism/settlements/politics unless you talk to orthodox jews... given they talk to you. Orthodox jews are looked down upon in society and seen as intruders due to the country's immigration laws which grant transfer.

Citizens seem "rude", mouthy and suspicious if they don't know you. Though after they've gotten to know you they are very loyal and invite you to family dinners, etc. they love to socialize and talk... talking seems like a sport.
You always keep connected via mobile due to terror/accidents - call each other every hour or so... very unusual if you come from a secure country.
Males are macho with shit beards, females are giggly, flirtatious but in reality very shy - cute.
Looks wise the people are more often than not attractive, often very attractive.
If you want a good looking partner and beautiful children go there and procreate.
