You're entitled to your opinion but have you looked around?  From the crop that's available these days I'd take a nice tithing Christian girl any day.  I guess that depends on your wants and needs though.  But you do need to be sure the church is putting those funds to good use.  Most do a lot of charity work that the casual visitor may not be aware of.

When the boston church as fined $1 billion for the rape cases they payed it out without blinking.  Churches in Boston, NY, Chicago etc... own 1/2 of the property in the town and are billionaires yet they still shill for change every Sunday

 I started tithing a few years back after hearing many of my favorite ministers urging it, but I felt as if I should be giving it to someone who truly needed it, so I gave it to programs on www.ifcj.com to help needy Jews, since it says in Genesis that God would bless anyone who blesses them. The very next day, I got a $3/hr. raise at work. God is good.

Church is a business they want the 10% to build a bigger church and pay the Pastor more. You can worship God whoever it is for you from home, religion basically makes people feel guilty.
