The host hotel is called Hotel Intercontinental, which is about 20 minutes away from the Filmore Theater in South Beach. The host hotel is in downtown Miami, which is actually very cool. We went out last night walking and ate at Bubba Gump's, and the entire half mile walk by the waterfront here was nice. Great weather last night, we could actually see the stars, although this morning, there are some rainclounds in the near distance.
Funny, our hotel has a dancing girl on it, which moves. Pretty cool, I figure the hotel is 36 floors high, so the girl is about 20 floors. Definitely catching your attention.
Yes, the promoter did provide shuttle buses to take you from the host hotel to the venue, but man, there is a lot of traffic out here, especially in South Beach. It took longer than 20 minutes, and some even said it took them close to 40-45. Be prepared.

Yes, Lou Ferrigno was there yesterday, along with Phil Heath, and surprisingly, Lou was actually very nice and in a great mood. It was really cool to see a lot of the Masters Olympian, even though we know many of them we not in the best shape. Dexter Jackson did bring it on, looked incredible, and I don't think anyone is going to even go near him. Pic below is by Isaac Hinds, shows that he is quite sharp.
Toney Freeman might take second, although others have him in 5th. Dennis James might be 4th. Ed Nunn looked great, could place 3rd here. Ronnie Rockel can be 4th or 5th, and Troy Alves in the 6th place here, along with Bill Wilmore (7th??)
