Who's gonna watch The Hobbit?

This is the most excited I've been to see a film in years.  I just loved LOTR and can't wait.  Any others here interested in this fantasy shit?

i've been reading some slight negatives about this. padded story, the frame rates ... guess we'll see for real in a couple of days.

I read about the frame rate.  Being twice as fast as normal.  Apparently it won't translate well on TVs but will on Theater screens.  I beleive he said they taped it using both types of camera and the viewers would be able to choose the version.

Not really how it works, but just make sure you see the 24fps version, not the 48fps.  It doesn't work on the big screen either IMO.

well they've padded out radagast the browns role for a start. then there's the three movies at nearly three hours long each  ???  sounds like this is gonna be one more for the fanboys i think. familiarising yourself with the lotr appendices might not be a bad idea..
