Bas is hilarious, and kind of scary. I believe he was teaching hand to hand combat to SF operators for a while.

In their prime Rickson. He was and still is a fucking machine. Rickson made it look easy simply because of how good he was. I personally know guys who have sparred with him and they said he toys with even the best.

Actually a good matchup.    Rickson was a legend, but El Guapo is a machine and has amazing savvyness and standup.   I wd say Rickson fought way more "cans" just because of the era.    

Being a King of Pancrase was not easy.      It wd come down to heart and will.   But I believe Bas

Guys back the were larger than life.    Its grown so much, but the personalities and the legendss have been replaced.    Technically better, but the aura of those guys was larger than life

Was in a plane w him from Dallas to La.    He was in first class.     He is way bigger in person than I tht.     All the way good dude.

Bas from experience in the ring alone, no self proclaimed 400 plus victories and zero defeats. Plus some of Ricksons fights in Pride he struggled with guys that Bas would have rocked easily .
