Amazing game, so much fun taking out those outposts with the silenced sniper rifle  :D

from what i've seen it looks like it could definitely be one of the very best FPS ever... do I buy it for my crappy laptop, or wait (who knows how long) before I have a decent PC?  what a dilemma...  :'(

Can't wait for the finals to be over. Then I'm picking up that Asus 144hz monitor and another GTX 580 for SLI

I have that but they still always get alerted, see me and sound the alarm after I've taken one out...

I only own one game for PS3 and that's Grand Theft Auto IV, that's usually all I got PS3 for.  I got Far Cry 3 and I'm addicted like some fat fucking nerd kid.  ;D

Can't wait for GTA V.

I've heard from many people that SLI is overrated for gaming (especially since all the ram on the 2nd card is basically wasted)... I run a single GTX570 and it does everything I need flawlessly.

I haven't enjoyed a FPS in mi entire life, I don't know why but first person shotters get me dizzy as hell. I can't play more than 30 min.

That's why you shoot the red alarm box at the bottom of the pole with the light on top, the light goes off, they then can't use the alarm and all you have to do is kill the 6 gaurds in the camp

I think you have to walk up to the alarm to disable the entire system of alarms.  If you shoot one it just keeps that one from going off.

No, it disables all of them for that camp

i decided to get it... awesome game.  has the usual dumb throwaway sandbox missions/content, but everything about the main missions was great, imo.  i liked the story a lot too, except the ending.

Not from my experience. last time I ran sli with GTX 480s I got close to 90% scaling in every game, especially Crysis and BF BC2. NVIDIA is really good about its SLI drivers and generally you would get really good scaling with two cards unless the game engine is really broken.

NO!  Shooting one alarm only disables THAT alarm but the rest can still be triggered.

Manually disabling one alarm by hand will then disable ALL of them.
