  I am a conservative. Recently I suffered a painful loss that caused me considerable grief. After a while I realized that we are all totally fucked, and it doesn't matter which party wins the white house as we are knee deep in a zombie apocalypse level of debt. 17 trillion just around the corner. When you add that to unfunded entitlement spending...well, in a technical sense we have reached a financial Chernobyl Effect. Now I just laugh. Not a cynical laugh. A belly laugh. This is genuinely funny. I feel pretty good.
