Police arrested mechanic in connection with child abuse case

KLANG: Police have picked up a mechanic in connection with a child abuse case following a release of a video showing an adult man physically abusing a toddler on social networking site ' Facebook', yesterday.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested by the police following the release of the video which was believed to have made several days ago.
The nearly nine-minute video which was first posted by Facebook user, 'Vasu Amaithi Padai' has since received 17, 278 shares during press time, with many users expressing outrage and demanded the police to take action against the individual and the video-maker.
 
Facebook user, Alice Perumal, commented " Oh my god! it is so cruel ! Is this his real father? Who is doing the shooting (the video)? I can't stop crying after watch this..."
 
In a statement to the media though its Facebook account, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), confirmed that the man involved was the stepfather to the 3-year-old toddler and is currently being investigated under  Section 31 (1) (a) of the Childrens Act 2001.
 
If convicted, the offender can be fined an amount not exceeding RM20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to both.
 
The toddler has since been admitted to the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah while under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department (JKM) officers.

The "coward" may have grown up with violence himself. I don't understand the logic of fighting violence with more violence. Our main concern should be to protect children and prevent such individuals from having parental responsibilities.

You know I was raised catholic - to believe there is a God who controls all and decides who goes to heaven or hell.  They I see things happening out there in the world like this video clip. A big full sized man abusing a helpless child. Now mind you I'm 45 yrs old -I believe there is a time and place for physical punishment as dicipline for kids who need that type of thing. It can be very effective when done correctly and in a non-abusive manor. I got as good whack when I was a kid and I fucked up. It happens. I don't give a fuck what the next guy/pussified adult says like never hit kids or whatever. Kids need swift dicipline and punishment in order to mold them correctly.  This video is not the way to do that.

 So I see this video - poor kid - this is abuse as there is NEVER a reason to treat a child like this - fuckn never.  This POS step dad will get his- believe me. It's the kid I worry about. How will he be 10 years down the line after living thru a childhood like this?   Then I think of that football player - that jagoff on the Chiefs.  Kills his girlfriend, the mother of his kid, then drives to the teams headquarters and kills himself.  This leaves the little girl without parents and basically alone in the world. That guy is/was a real selfish asshole. So he had a bad day and the result of that is another parentless child.

 So where is God while all this is going on? If we are being taught that we can all rely on this all powerful being to save us where is he when the helpless kids need him? 

 Catholicism - what a load of crap. Watch the video. Think of that asshole killing his girlfriend, his kids mom, then himself.  Then ask yourself where God is.

 Good luck with that. Needless to say I think the whole religion thing is BS along with the catholic religion being the worst of them all.

Couldnt watch it for more than 20 seconds, the second he picked the kid up and started hitted him in the kidneys I had to turn it off and if the guy had been in the room with me that second Id likely have caved his head in!What a piece of shit!

i feel bad when I put my son on the naughty step and he sits there sobbing shuffling around and crying Papa, Paaapa! it nearly kills me and it takes everything I got to remain calm and not pick him up and cuddle him for 2 min.

I mean I am not lying and I am sure other parents agree there are days when you are so stressed you want to throw you son and or daughter out the window, when all you want is to go to bed and he/she has to contiue making her/his hair wet in the shower.
