You Never Know your Natural Limits!!..
« on: December 14, 2012, 04:13:05 PM »
i was always saying that anyone who lifts weights seriously and continuously for years reaches his maximum strength limits by his early/mid 20s then the best he he can do after that is to maintain what he has achieved without being able to increase his lifts..

but today against all my expectations and at 33 years old i did my best bench press ever.. at a body weight of exactly 75 kg (166 pounds) i bench pressed 140 kg (309 pounds) for 3 very good reps.. i had done the exact same thing more than once before but at a body weight of around 83 kg (185 pounds) so what i did today is definitely my best bench press ever.. will try to record this on my next chest day or i may try to do the same weight on the decline bench for 6 reps..

cheer up old guys we still have more to achieve  8)

seriously i dont know but the only difference i have been doing during the last 3-4 months is cardio!!.. i run at least 4 times a week and i swim at least once a week.. i was +80 kg 4 months ago and now i am 75 kg without changing anything in my diet,.. all the weight loss was from cardio.. not trying to say that cardio has made me stronger but it has definitely made me feel over all much better..

when i started doing cardio seriously and continuously i lost body weigh quickly during the first 2 months and this made me clearly weaker for a while but i didnt care because my target was to burn fats to look better.. then after my BW became constant for about another 2 months while keeping the same cardio volume my strength started to increase again gradually till i have reached my best lifts again!!..

That's a double bodyweight bench press (3x140=1x150), which is extremely impressive.

Sherief that is seriously impressive bro, here is a challenge for you and I am only challenging you cause you are close and I think you can pull it off, double your body weight on the bench brother. Very few naturals anywhere can double their body weight, what do you say brother?   8)

thats indeed very very good, esp for a natty.

i cant bench double my bodyweight for 3reps.actually, never could, not even when haevily loaded on gear
Ya even on heavy chemicals it is extremely hard to double body weight. I doubled my body weight on flat bench in 08 but barely, I benched 515 at 255 and also did 455 at 220 that same year. Now I am 245 and can put up 455 for a double. Certainly not as strong as I was but I train differently now with higher reps.

yeah, my best was 220kg for 2, and was just under 120kgs of bloof myself, the medication was something like 2gramms test as baseline, tren i dont remember how much, then something like tren from veterinary, had a dog on the packaging, 3 anadrol a day, and 4halos.

 ;D
Yes yes tren, test and anadrol have to be there for maximum lifts.

halo is something I never have tried, everyone keeps telling me how strong it gets them, I should try but very uncommon in my neck of the woods. Will give it a try soon, I heard the sides are harder the tren  ???...

sorry SS didn`t mean to derail the thread, lol.
