Im hearing on radio some 6 year old is a hero cause he ran with 3 other kids down the hallway, and stayed behind them to make sure they were ok..Theres no hero in this, just bodies. no need to sugar coat it.

The people were killed all huddled together in the center of the room.  Very horrible.  Execcuted one by one.

I hate to say it, but you HAVE to run right at a threat like that.  The sounds of gunfire came thru the school intercom system, so everyone in that school heard the shooting and had at least a little time to react.

I dunno why doors weren't locked, maybe some were... but I would have picked up the sharpest metal object i could find and I would have fought if that door opened.   Gonna die anyway, might as well puncture that little fcker's neck, maybe stop the shooting sooner.

its all lies, i dont believe for a second that anyone lunged at the autistic girl, watch there will be a story how the kids that died protected the ones that lived and some of the kids protected the teachers.

Its a mass killing, no need for hero stories and lies when you have 20 kids dead, you think that will make the parents of the slain feel better, No, the gunman won.

We see it differently. Perhaps it has something to do with ourselves and placing our own character on others, assuming they are the same. You can't believe anyone would risk their lives trying to save others, and seem actually angry that there are stories indicating that may be the case. I have no problem realizing that some stories may be exagerrated out of emotion, but have been privvy to some pretty cool incidents where strangers no less, did risk their lives to help others. Not sure why it's so alien to you that it happens, it's a little sad really.

I would have attacked the shooter if the opportunity was there no matter what the danger was.. If you are going to die anyways then you might as well try.  If the guy is reloading or facing the other direction there are no excuses not to take him out.
