Assault weapon is ur ar15, m16 etc.  I just got to shoot one for the first time a few weeks ago.      They are freeking amazing and the accuracy, and easy of shooting good sre shocking.    Here in Dallas, everyone is stocking up on them

These types of events have happened all around the world. And subsequent policies enacted to prevent recurrence have been significantly successful. Except in the US. Let's see how many of these same-type threads we will again have in 2013.
