the right to bear arms is irrelevant... it's the right to bear arms as part of a militia "There are several versions of the text of the Second Amendment, each with slight capitalization and punctuation differences, found in the official documents surrounding the adoption of the Bill of Rights.[5] One version was passed by the Congress,[6] while another is found in the copies distributed to the States[7] and then ratified by them. As passed by the Congress:A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State:A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_ConstitutionToday American't has a bloated, dysfunctional military to bear its arms... Wrong again see District of Columbia v. Heller http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_of_Columbia_v._HellerIt's already been determined by the Supreme court the right to bear arms is a personal one

it is true that criminals will still find way to get what they want...
i did like Chris Rock's bullet control idea though
Real bright idea considering its really easy to make your own bullets.

From what I remember that is NOT TRUE. Here is what that Wiki entry states: In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two landmark decisions concerning the Second Amendment. In District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia[1][2] and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Here is the link to that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_ConstitutionIn other words, you don't have to be part of any militia or military, instead you can own the gun for simple self-defense needs. Woo, we are not living in times of old. We are constantly evolving as a people, society and overall global community. In America, we no longer fear the British. It seems fair that just as we evolve in our views, that our laws reflect our growth as a people. " 1"

Great Great Grandpa said there was no problem whatsoever to use the 2nd Amendment against black people, so yes, it did apply.

And it will happen and they can't be prevented that's the reality of the situation. That's what people don't want to acknowledge , we can NOT control these things

These types of events have happened all around the world. And subsequent policies enacted to prevent recurrence have been significantly successful. Except in the US. Let's see how many of these same-type threads we will again have in 2013.

hoho, you familiar with how "liked" the jewish people were in the us during those times?
Yes. The Confederate Secretary of War, Secretary of State, Attorney General was Jewish. Judah P. Benjamin. Uriah P. Levy was the Commodore of the entire United States Navy, the highest rank possible. He also bought Thomas Jefferson`s Monticello and lived there. Jews were absolutely respected in the South and attained great wealth. I hope this helps.

Maj. Adolph Proskauer of Mobile, Ala., was wounded several times. One of his subordinate officers wrote,- "I can see him now as he nobly carried himself at Gettysburg, standing coolly and calmly with a cigar in his mouth at the head of the 12th Alabama amid a perfect rain of bullets, shot, and shell. He was the personification of intrepid gallantry and imperturbable courage."

Gen. Robert E. Lee allowed his Jewish soldiers to observe all holy days, while Gens. Ulysses S. Grant and William T. Sherman issued anti-Jewish orders.
