Ronnie could have inserted anyone's name in that sentence, let alone Heath. In his prime, no one could have ever beaten him. No one has yet to come along that would have beaten a prime Coleman. In his best shape, he's the best there's ever been.

If that wasn't just a ghost writer talking smack under Coleman's name, Phil must've bothered Ronnie behind the scenes in some way, Ronnie's always been very mellow and respectful when discussing other guys.

Ronnie does look like a fraction of his former self.  But SOME people that grew up inspired by him would still rather see him posing than a top NPC amateur no-name with a better physique.   Kinda like the way Joe Montata would have longer lines than some freshman named Johnny Football holding the heisman.  Even if Montana couldn't throw the ball 10 yards, people would rather pay to toss the ball around and get an autograph, because of his experience, achievement, and the connection they made with that athlete via watching them compete and win.
