This time of year I do enjoy Christmas music....

....and this is one of my favorite songs sung around Christmas time performed by my favorite gospel artist David Phelps.  He's accompanied by the late, great Anthony Burger on piano (was a fantastic gospel pianist).



I shared this on the religion board, but thought I'd let the masses on the G&O enjoy also.  Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I love this version of the song.

I love O Holy Night but prefer a more traditional hymn version. They sing it every year at Christmas Eve Mass.

Jussi Bjorling sang a tremendous version of it, albeit in Swedish!
