;)
they've been having a time with the "dark haired", and or "latina" types.

Seems almost every yr (almost) the US shows up with California girl lookalikes, and get blown out of the water by South American or peoples af Latin descent.

But, I wonder is this a sympathy "win"? For what happened this past week? Don owns the contest, and America needs some good news--- gossip fodder.

Just thinking out loud...

Sure she does, Latino is a ethnicity, and the way she looks at the contest, she would fit right in with the Miss Colombias, Miss Puerto Ricos, Miss Cubas, Miss Belize, hell even Brazil has a huge population of Italians...
the dark haired, dark eyed phenotype.

The US has been trying to go the blonde hair, blue-eyed route for awhile (been exceptions),
And guess what seemingly wins? The Latinas for the most part (for most of the 90s and 00's).
Puerto Rico and Colombia is alwaysputting bomb chicks in and seem to be always in the top ten or top 5 (They get to make the pose down)

Miss needs to work on her Back Double Bi, I'm not really feeling it.

Check out the small pool of select judges, and you might understand this phenomenon.

I honetly didn't know until I was searching for Miley Cyrus  ;D
...one of my co-workers who is Rican, dies for this stuff.

Ahhh...
I remember when Miss Japan won one yr, I was like, "I can find a prettier Asian chick working in the Mall."

I think it's part political, and partly promoting a certain "image".

And since Donald Trump owns the contest, you can't tell me he doesn't have influence over it? Look at his ex-wives, ex-girlfriends ...

That is a white woman with mixed heritage. Just as Barack Obama is a white man with black genes ;-). African americans as a group are not pure Africans, they are mixed with europeans (about 20% on average): http://www.eurweb.com/2010/05/latest-genetic-study-says-african-americans-are-22-percent-white/.

Here is a beautiful woman from Congo- this is a black person.

That cracked me up just now, because I remember when this was on earlier I said "I'm pretty sure I just saw that girl at Walgreens".  Can't remember which country she was.   ;D

...

Haha, sorry about the obviousness, but I am amazed about about how a person in the US is "black" if not clearly 100% caucasian.

Nordic-African is a good combination, I agree with you there.

If I didn't meet my Beautiful wife (who is an Essex girl born and bred) I would have like to marry a Jamiacan woman - the thick, lighter skinned variety. Good food, nice big ass and boobs

It is clearly political - the contestants in the 80's and early 90's were MUCH HOTTER.
