The biceps was a mid muscle tear so surgery wasn't possible. Tricep was reattached but never fully recovered.

Yates is still about 250 with those crazy calves and his signature back......I heard that he still trains 4 times a week.

Yeah.  He loves training.

Not long ago, he also showed his midsection.  Cut to hell and tight as a drum.  I don't know what he weighed at that point, but I've seen footage of him stepping on a scale that pegged him right at 270 (269 and change).  One of his arms is all fucked up but he's still a very big, strong dude.

After the 1994 Olympia, Dorian and his wife and Leroy came to Gold's Venice. They walked in like regular cats. I just happened to be the guy they approached. . .  Dorian said, " Hi, is Ed Connors available?"
