With globalism and free market laissez faire capitalism being accepted and promoted as a good thing by both parties, corporations and most people, it would be difficult for a true nationalist party to gain any traction. Economically we are to interdependent upon other nations to alter our policy to much without causing a backlash from foreign markets. The money makers, global elite if you will, have no regard for, belief in or allegiance to the concept of nations. |
