Wow, pretty full on! I have watched most seasons of Air Crash Investigations, and after that, I don't think I would ever want to get on a plane again, dying in an Aeroplane crash doesn't seem like the ideal way too go, good thing I don't have any reason to fly. Here is the youtube link for that Russian Plane Crash.

Was he a cabbie, why does he have a camera in his car? This why Haha nah, I think it has something to do with possible incidents and recorded video acting as a legit proof of events for police, for insurance... maybe? Plus MoD recently suspended flying that low over public roads after everyone began to cry after these videos. Yes, pussification of even RUS is in full effect. Civilians..... when someone attacks, those F-18's are not gonna care how low they fly but that's too much asked to understand of course.

What's the crash record of USA major airlines vs the world? I wouldn't touch a flight in Russia, Africa, China or South America via one of their airlines.

Google airlinedisaster.com or something like that, forget the name of the website, has a full database of worldwide plane crashes filtered by country, airline, dates , etc. PS. I travelled once domestically in China on Dragon Air, for business. I was fucking terrified!

Ha ha I once flew in a charter in Ghana from Kumasi to Accra (18 seater) The seats in the plane were torn, empty chip packets and cool drink bottles on the floor. The Portuguese pilot stank of stale booze and refused to take of his sunglasses. Now there was a flight.

Was he a cabbie, why does he have a camera in his car? from reading the comments, apparently dash cams are for insurance purposes. There is a lot of insurance fraud, due to people in Russia basically not knowing how to drive or doing stupid stuff. Like stopping in the middle of the highway and backing up and then claiming its the other person's fault.

Sounds just like driving here in SCal. Maybe I'll look into a dash cam

I flew from Ecuador to the Galápagos Islands in an ancient boeing 727 a couple of years ago.
I wasn't happy.

Brakes fail is currently suspected to have caused the crash. Pilot error of course can't be excluded either at this point. Plane is not old, as has often been the case in accidents. Tupolev TU-204, acting as base for few planes of government of RF and even for new military ELINT-planes.

When I was a kid I went on one of those old planes that have the giant props that spin right by the side windows. Between the thought of the propellers shattering and coming through the windows, the noise, and the flexing feeling of the plane it was scary. Reminded me of the plane from the cartoon Tailspin.

It was reported that it was the plane's third landing attempt so it seems they had some kind of problems before the plane hit the ground...
